Job Description

The Megaplex Team Member is responsible for guest service and cleanliness at the Theatre. He/she promotes the highest quality levels of guest service, food service, ticket sales and cleanliness. The team member champions the company's Mission and Vision, and models the company Values.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

* Protect the moral, legal and financial assets at the LHM Group of Companies
* Continually teach associates new and better ways of doing business with and emphasis on STEWARDSHIP, ACCOUNTABILITY, and GUEST SERVICE
* Perform box office functions in a friendly, courteous and professional manner to include; ticket sales, telephone answering and guest relations
* Ability to communicate clearly and keep current on new information guests may inquire about to include: movie descriptions, movie ratings, show times and seating
* Ability to be responsive to guests with disabilities in any manner necessary
* Maintain line control, tear tickets and give accurate directions to the correct auditoriums, help guests find seating inside auditoriums
* Assist in cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, lobby and hallways
* Assist in standee build-ups, poster replacements and sign change outs
* Aware of any safety concerns and is alert to make appropriate corrections
* Ensure concessions unit is properly organized, set up or cleaned each shift
* Follow all cash handling policies and procedures
* Ensure all food is dated, rotated, properly stacked and food is fresh and nicely presented to our guests
* All other tasks as assigned

Knowledge and Skills

* 1 year experience in a theatre or guest-service experience is preferred
* Organization skills
* Previous cash handling preferred

Supervision Received and Exercised

* Reports to and receives assignments from Theatre Managers/Department Leaders

* Theatre Manager, Assistant Managers, Department Leaders
* Theatre Guests

Judgment and Mental Requirements

* Guest service issues including refunds and exchanges
* Ability to calm dissatisfied patrons through empathetic dialog
* Must be able to make quick, sound decisions and be organized

Physical Demands

* Some lifting (up to 50 lbs.) and bending required
* Must stand for entire shift
* Must be able to go up and down stairs in auditoriums
* Flexible working schedule
* High levels of stress may be associated with this position

Language Skills

* Must be able to communicate in English
