Job Description

Job Summary: This position will be involved in administering payroll for various entities
within the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies
Specific Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Compile payroll data such as wages, garnishments, vacation, PTO and sick
time, insurance and 401k deductions for multiple pay groups.
Will enter all new hires, terminations and payroll changes for the
pay groups you are responsible for.
Download data from electronic time clock for review of the information for
completeness and accuracy.
Contact various department supervisors for any missed time punches.
Process semi-monthly transfer of payroll data to ADP.
Generate and distribute many internal management payroll reports.
Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
Minimum of 1-3 years of payroll experience.
Strong knowledge of reporting is essential.
Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws is a must.
Must maintain confidential information.
Proficiency in Word and Excel.
Clear written and verbal communications.
Good time management skills.
Excellent attention to details.
Work well in a team environment.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Exposed to intermittent walking, standing, twisting.
Exposed to intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling and climbing stairs.
