Description:

Be a student, teacher and leader in all work related pursuits to enrich the lives of others.



The key focus of the market trainer will be collaborating with the General Manager to develop a quality training plan/program for the dealership. To map out daily, weekly and monthly activities necessary to execute and maintain this plan within the store. The market trainer will ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales force by implementing the designated training programs; track results, follow up on progress and follow through to ensure long term sustainment of the training plan within the dealership.



Goal: The goal is to develop employee skill sets to improve the following: sales performance, dealership culture, customer experience (CSI), sales results and overall sales efficiency, net to gross profit.





Core objective: The market trainer will execute and facilitate all aspects of the Larry H. Miller Automotive Operations Sales Training, as designated by the President of Larry H. Miller Automotive Operations, Vice President of Corporate Development for Larry H. Miller Automotive Operations and the dealership General Manager.


Duties:



Essential Job Responsibilities:



The market trainer will always protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the Larry H. Miller organization. They will have a strong knowledge of Larry H. Miller products, services and sales techniques. They will rely heavily on their experience, time management and organizational skills to plan and accomplish identified goals/objectives for the growth and development of each dealership.

* Model the behaviors expected of all Larry H. Miller employees; including a drive for top results, a clear bias for action; high levels of maturity and professionalism; giving, receiving and responding to feedback effectively; a high service orientation; and clear commitments to diversity, inclusion, a respectful workplace, and integrity.

* Have a working knowledge of the Larry H. Miller automotive sales process and performance expectations as designated by the LHM organization and the dealership General Manager.
* Attend and actively participate in all applicable meetings and conference calls.
* Manage relationships in a manner acceptable to others and to the Larry H. Miller culture, mission and vision.

* Model team commitment by meeting deadlines, being cooperative, collaborative, and flexible.
* Actively build the capability of others through timely and relevant coaching, education and feedback. Use recognition to reinforce desirable behaviors and constructive coaching to correct or improve performance.
* Develop a working knowledge of the LHM Auto Operations and dealership reporting.

* Complete all daily, weekly and monthly job responsibilities with excellence.
* Keep up to date on all current dealership management staff and/or staff changes.
* Meet weekly with Vice President of Corporate Development (by phone) to determine sales training needs and report on training initiatives.
* Assist with recruiting efforts for the dealerships.

* Conduct regular and effective new hire employee sales training.
* Perform one-on-one coaching on a regular basis with employees needing additional direction.
* Maintain high performance standards.

Minimum Qualifications, Job Skills, and Abilities:


* Minimum 5 years' automotive sales experience.
* Must have extensive knowledge of automotive industry sales processes and technologies
* Must have extensive knowledge of DealerSocket.
* Strong public speaking skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with others using written and spoken English including the ability to provide clear, positive, constructive feedback to team members when necessary.
* Ability to work under demanding time constraints and production goals.
* Proficient project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and manage job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities.
* Possess good problem solving and decision making skills.
* Ability to model the behavior and attitude of commitment, respect, education, proactive, positive and collaborative work environment.
* Consistently demonstrate a commitment to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities and moral integrity.
* 5+ years of automotive sales and sales training experience is necessary, with an ability to determine training objectives, ability to troubleshoot, and work hand in hand with all employees and management.
* Professional attitude, display high quality, outgoing communication skills.
* High level of computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Accredited Bachelor's degree; and/or at least 7 years of related automotive experience for consideration as substitution.
* Usage and understanding of wireless and mobile applications, computers and technologies
