Job Description



Primary Responsibilities:

The Finance Assistant I is expected to:


* Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the Larry H. Miller Companies dealerships;
* Assist the Sales and Finance Department with prompt first quality processing of retail and lease documents to achieve customer service benchmarks;
* Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful.
* Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

Primary Duties:

Less than half total earnings consist of commissions. Less than 50% of time spent making sales or obtaining orders or contracts for sale of automobiles.

1. Maximum production, customer service and profitability.


* Prepare bank finance and title documents.
* Prepare and submit all legal transfer documents for the Finance department & Financial Institutions following review of the documents by the Finance Director or Manager.
* Assist in creating and processing leasing and loan paperwork.
* Verify accuracy of vehicle identification information on contracts.
* Achieve or exceed group standards such as sales production, gross profit and applicable benchmarks which result in profitability and customer service satisfaction.
* Effectively communicate with Sales Managers and Sales Personnel to strengthen processes.
* Perform all job duties requested by management.

2. Operate with integrity.


* Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others.
* Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment.
* Communicate and help resolve customer complaints and adjustments in a timely and professional manner.

Job Qualifications:


* High School diploma or equivalent.
* 1 + years experience in an administrative role.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* 1 + years of customer service experience.
* Professional communication skills.
* Applicable state license to sell insurance products.
* ADP experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:


* Work performed in an office and dealership setting due to necessity to process and review deals and financing at the dealership.
* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers and move about facilities.
* Required vision include ability to adjust focus.
* Required to operate equipment in a safe manner at all times.

* Safety and Security- the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
