Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

The Collision Center Parts Advisor and Processor is expected to:

* Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the Larry H. Miller Companies dealerships;
* Achieve sales and gross profit goals to develop business while sustaining customer satisfaction standards;
* Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful;
* Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

Primary Duties:

1. Ensure maximum productivity, customer service and cost control.

* Develop and maintain productive relationships with all vendors for parts.
* Effectively communicate with clientele to ensure objective, customer needs and sales opportunities meet company standards.
* Negotiate profitable and productive terms for all vendor relationships taking into account price, qualify, service level, delivery response times and the ability to meet the collision center's unique needs.
* Order all needed parts and supplemental parts for repair orders.
* Oversee receipt and storage of parts including the process of checking all parts orders and the parts themselves for accuracy and completeness.
* Assure that all parts are marked with the RO number and are stored or staged by job, and that the order status is clearly noted on all paperwork.
* Expedite parts and/or search alternative sources when obtaining specifics parts are problematic.
* Manage the dispatch of parts to technicians on a timely basis and ensure return parts are returned within the same day they are received.
* Review service repair orders and invoices with technicians for proper completion and calculations.
* Effectively communicate with clientele regarding invoices and payments.
* Document all transaction, as appropriate, in the computer or management system on a timely basis.
* Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships to have constructive and cooperative working relationships.
* Perform all job duties requested from management.

2. Operate with integrity:

Job Qualifications:

* High school diploma or the equivalent.
* One year in an automotive parts environment preferred.
* Prefer one-two year's sales experience.
* Basic computer skills necessary. Desirable: Larry H. Miller Group's management systems knowledge.
* Must be personable, enthusiastic and have a sense of urgency.
* Communication skills;

* Basic- ability to read and write
* Speaking- talking to others to convey information effectively
* Active listening skills- taking the time to understand the points being made by employees and customers
* Social Perceptiveness- being aware of other's reactions and understanding why they react as they do
* Customer Service;

* Able to assess customer of needs, meet quality standards for services, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
* Be service oriented and actively looking for ways to help.
* Represent the company to all employees and customers in all communications.
* Critical and complex problem solving- using logic to weigh various approaches to resolve problems
* Knowledge of automotive repair.
* Reliable- being dependable in fulfilling job obligations.
* Attention to detail- being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
* Adaptable- open to change and variety within the workplace.

Physical Requirements:

* Work performed in a shop setting.
* Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives.
* Required to lift up to a minimum of 70 lbs.
* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
* Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch.
* Required vision include the ability to adjust focus.
* Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
