Job Summary:

The Director of Digital Strategy is responsible for crafting and executing the organization's digital growth and engagement strategy across multiple online platforms and audiences. This individual will be responsible for developing effective strategies for deepening engagement of current digital consumers and will also develop and maintain new audiences and technologies. This position includes direct responsibility for the digital content, web development, and mobile strategy departments. Responsible for in-person digital engagement (such as the kiosk experience) and relations with digital partners both online and physical.

Primary Duties:

The Director of Digital Strategy is a multi-disciplinary position. You'll be expected to:


* Research


* Can quickly grasp complex systems already in place
* Understand market conditions and competitor strengths and weaknesses
* Narrow down opportunities to invest development resources across mobile, web properties and in-person digital engagement for maximum return
* Perform market testing and analysis of results
* Continuously seek feedback from end users through surveys, focus groups and additional means where appropriate
* Planning


* Using research, create a captivating, realistic vision for what can be accomplished backed up by solid numbers
* Create a roadmap for each medium of engagement demonstrating maximum impact achievable
* Map available resources to high value projects and know what additional resources should be sought
* Balance the requirements of developing web based resources, mobile apps and in-person digital engagement
* Create implementation plans for individual improvement projects and prioritize which projects should be tackled first with the business
* Map the effects of proposed projects to key metrics they will influence including revenue generation, engagement and user satisfaction
* Create accurate budgets of both money, time and resources required for completion of all projects
* Communication


* Effectively communicate your vision to business users who may not be as tech savvy as you are
* Prioritize and coordinate with business users to accomplish what brings the most value first
* Serve as an ambassador for the brand to the public when required
* Work with product owners in other branches of the LHM group to create unified initiatives where appropriate
* Unambiguously communicate requirements to the IT team members who will implement proposed solutions
* Follow up with IT, business resources and others to make sure initiatives move forward in a timely manner
* Work with project managers and other resources on specific, large-scale initiatives
* Implementation:


* Work with IT and the business to make sure projects proceed on time and budget
* Develop methods of marketing and training new features both internally and externally
* Help determine ways to make implemented products more reliable, intuitive and enjoyable to use
* Help transition new projects from development to operations

Qualifications:


* 7-10 years related work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a management role
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Experience in project management (a project management certification such as PMP is a plus)
* Able to manage several simultaneous projects while focusing on bringing the most value to our guests
* Experience in Agile/Scrum software development, specifically with the product owner role (CSPO a plus)
* Demonstrated knowledge of current media consumption habits and trends
* Experience managing digital-first video, design and web-based content
* Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
* Ability to successfully lead cross-functional large-scale projects
* Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and a track record of achievement in a dynamic team environment
* Expertise in the fundamental concepts of marketing, such as positioning, segmentation, consumer behavior, etc.
* Understanding of complex digital ecosystems and metrics available for collection and analysis and able to use as needed
* Detail oriented



Physical Requirements:


* This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess
* The person must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
* This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
