Job Description





Summary

The primary responsibility of the Digital Media Specialist is to provide overall strategic direction on digital media for their clients' business objectives, and strong brand stewardship for their clients' marketing programs and initiatives. This includes collaborating with the Strategy, Creative + Production teams as well as Sr. Leadership to develop program strategy and marketing plans, overseeing the creation of media briefs, and ensuring a high degree of strategy is embedded in all aspects of their clients' programs.



Additionally, the Digital Media Specialist builds lasting relationships with their clients + vendors by negotiating resolutions to client conflicts as needed, as well as communicating regularly to provide ongoing strategic recommendations leading to consistent account growth and continued client profitability.



Responsibilities




* Demonstrates a deep knowledge of core agency service offerings/capabilities
* Oversees development of detailed Channel plans
* Maintains deep understanding of their clients' industry/segment
* Maintains deep understanding of clients and their consumer profiles and customer personas
* Maintains deep understanding of clients' competitors
* Develops ongoing strategic digital media recommendations that solve business objectives for their clients, above and beyond contracted client engagement
* Utilize preferred agency technologies to maximize efficiencies
* Utilizes Google Analytics to analyze performance and make optimizations based on data
* Day-to-day planning and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including display, video, OTT, mobile, social and email
* Responsible for overseeing client pacing & performance across digital media portfolio
* Daily management of digital media buys within DSPs and social media platforms; optimizing against multiple performance based KPIs in complex campaigns

* Ensures alignment of creative and client audience strategy and spot checks, as necessary
* Understand clients' business objectives and be able to translate them into measurable digital media programs
* Generate campaign performance reports, providing analysis and insight as it relates to the clients' business and industry best practices
* Maintain + cultivate relationships with key digital media vendors
* Stay current + relevant on industry trends, best practices, and the like
* Maintains professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
* Protect the legal, moral and financial well-being of the company
* Other duties, as assigned

* Facilitate digital media strategy on a monthly basis
* Reviews priority client digital media strategy
* Purchase + optimize digital media to achieve buying standards set forth by the agency



Auto Annual Planning


* Participates in internal Discovery Onsite Team prep meeting
* Participates in internal Annual Planning kick-off
* Participates in Annual Plan presentation



Client Relations


* Contributes to program/campaign reporting recommendations



Admin


* Completes timesheet daily





Requirements


* 3+ years of digital media advertising experience.
* Bachelor's degree


* Marketing agency experience
* Thorough knowledge of agency capabilities/offerings
* Auto industry experience preferred
* Google AdWords Certification Required
* Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Display Network, DoubleClick or similar management platforms
* Profiecient with Google Tag Manager
* Mastery in developing program/campaign goals and benchmarking in digital media
* Skilled in developing integrated marketing plans + budgets aligned with client's business objectives
* Skilled in providing strong brand stewardship for clients throughout relationship
* Skilled in successful negotiations and conflict resolution
* Detail orientated, self-starter, with the ability to prioritize projects, work within short time frames and meet deadlines.
* Ability to interact with clients and coworkers effectively while maintaining professionalism
