Job Description

The Salt Lake Bees are seeking a digital and social media assistant to manage and facilitate growth of social media accounts and create content for the Bees online. This job will run from approximately March 2019 through the end of the season in September 2019.

Primary Duties:

* Plan long-term content vision for all major social media platforms.
* Brainstorm social media promotions to highlight the Bees and maximize revenue.
* Work with marketing, ticketing and sponsorship departments to come up with an effective social calendar.
* Assist in covering the team for social media platforms for 140 games as well as off-field events.
* Assist with executing paid advertisements on social platforms.
* Monitor and respond to social media customer service inquiries.
* Maintain and update the team website.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Must have completed 3 or more years of college coursework with preference going to individuals with at least one year of experience in social media or sports communications at the professional or college level.
* Understanding of social media platforms and trends.
* Solid knowledge of the game of baseball including statistics and terminology.
* Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work in pressure situations.
* Punctual, detail-oriented and take direction from and work well with others.
* Strong computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
* Available to work holidays, evenings and weekends in addition to a regular 9-5 work week.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening.

* This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
* This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate and assess
* The person must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
* This person must be able to lift 20 lbs.
