Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

* The Deal Booker is expected to:
* Protect the legal, financial and moral well-being of the Larry H. Miller Companies dealerships;
* Provide prompt, first quality processing of new and used auto inventory titles and collection of monies to maintain compliance and achieve customer service benchmarks;
* Be a teacher to support the efforts of other employees to be successful;
* Seek ways to improve business operations efficiencies and customer service.

Primary Duties:
* 1. Maximize title reporting and administration.

* Operate computers programed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
* Create ADP deal posting, check figures and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
* Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
* Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
* Operate 10-key calculators, typewriters, and copy machines to perform calculations and produce documents and reports.
* Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and vouchers.
* Comply with federal, state, and company policies, and procedures, and regulations.
* Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, and profits and losses.
* Code documents according to company procedures.
* Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
* Reconcile commissions of all Sales Associates after postings are complete, and report commissions to Payroll Department.
* Assists employees, vendors, clients and/or customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures and services.
* Perform all other job duties as requested by management.

Job Qualifications:

* High school diploma or the equivalent.
* 1 year of dealership title clerk experience or equivalent experience.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel applications.
* ADP experience, preferred.
* Professional communication skills.
* Proficiency in basic math.
* Customer Service

* Be service oriented and actively looking for ways to help
* Represent the company to all employees and customers in all communications
* Detail oriented.

Physical Requirements:
* Work performed in an office and dealership settings due to constant face to face interaction with Dealership Managers, Employees, and Customers.
* Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities.
* Perform all job duties requested by management.
